Competitive scraper/drum filter conveyors on horizontal machining centers (for production of hospital beds) failed often due to jams from balls of chips. Daily manual cleaning was needed to keep the machine tool running.

Solution
ConSep hinged belt/drum separator-conveyor provided more robust handling of the balls of chips. Low-profile design meant the machine did not have to be raised like competitive units would have required.
